Condition Ranking Guide
At 2nd Select, every item is carefully inspected before being listed for sale. Our S–D condition ranking system provides a clear and consistent indication of each item’s overall condition, based on the level and nature of wear we observe.
Any notable signs of wear or individual flaws will also be clearly described and photographed on the product listing.

Ranking S - Brand New
Our highest condition grade. Items ranked as S are brand new and have never been worn or used. They show no signs of previous use and are presented in original, unused condition. Any original tags or packaging will be clearly stated in the product listing.
Condition Ranking A - Like New
Items ranked A have been previously worn or have had their original tags removed, but show no visible signs of usage or flaws. They have been exceptionally well maintained and remain in like-new condition.
Ranking B - Excellent
Items ranked B have been lightly worn and may show minor signs of previous usage. Any wear is minimal and does not detract from the overall appearance or functionality of the item. These items remain in excellent condition.
Ranking C - Good
Items ranked C show clear signs of previous ownership, which may include small marks, fading or other minor imperfections. Despite these signs of use, the item remains fully wearable/functional. Any notable imperfections will be shown and described in the product listing.
Ranking D - Flawed
Items ranked D remain wearable/functional, but show more significant signs of wear, damage or other imperfections. All known flaws will be clearly photographed and detailed in the product description, allowing you to understand the item’s condition before purchasing.
Due to the nature of our business, no two pieces are quite the same. Every item at 2nd Select is individually selected, carefully inspected and honestly represented so that you know exactly what you’re buying.
Our condition rankings are designed to make shopping second-hand simple and transparent. Where an item shows signs of its previous life, we’ll make them clear through detailed descriptions and photographs.
We believe these individual characteristics are part of what makes second-hand clothing special — giving great pieces another chapter, rather than letting them go to waste.
